Cookie policy

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in the user's browser in order to save and retrieve information about their visit, such as their preferences or their browsing behaviour.

2. Cookies used by this website

This website uses no first-party advertising or personalisation cookies. The only first-party cookie stores whether you accepted or rejected this notice, so you are not asked again on every page.

The following third-party resources are loaded and may set their own cookies or access technical data from your device. None of them loads until you accept the banner: if you reject it, no third-party cookie is set and your visit is not measured.

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): used to find out how many people visit the site, from which country and which pages they look at, and to count how many people tap the WhatsApp and phone buttons or send the form. It is there to improve the site, not to identify you: the IP address is collected anonymised and this data is not combined with what you enter in the form. You can prevent it by rejecting the banner or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Google Maps (Google LLC): used to show the location of the shop on the home page and the contact page. The map does not load until you accept the cookie banner shown on those pages; only then is the Google map embedded, which may install third-party cookies for the operation of the map and, according to their policy, for measurement and ad personalisation. More information in the Google privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts (Google LLC): used to load the website's typefaces (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). This does not install cookies, but it does mean the user's browser connects to Google servers, which receive the IP address of the request.
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.): the WhatsApp contact button links directly to wa.me and loads no resource or cookie unless it is clicked.

3. How to disable or block them

You can allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your device through the settings of whichever browser you use: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all allow this from their privacy settings. Note that blocking Google Maps cookies may prevent the map from loading properly.

4. Changes to this policy

This cookie policy may be updated in response to changes to the website or to applicable legislation. If measurement or advertising tools are added in future, this page will be updated and the user's prior consent will be requested by means of the corresponding notice or banner.
